Officials at the Fire Service Operations Center received the alert shortly after 9 p.m. A ground team from the 9th EMODE unit joined the response. Throughout the incident, the National Coordination Center for Crisis Management monitored the site using drone footage with thermal and optical cameras.
The area was already classified at high risk for wildfires, category 3, on the day of the fire. An investigative unit from the Corinthia Arson Crimes Response Team was assigned to determine the cause.
No injuries or damage to structures were reported in the initial dispatch. The response remained active into the evening.
